THE GOALS
Each of First Clapper's projects applies the model of "reflective learning," which is based upon three generic goals:
- Creative value
- Production value
- Learning value
The creative value of the project begins with the creator's original idea and ends with the finished product and its ultimate artistic impact.
This goal serves to facilitate the development of the original idea,its artistic vision and story, as well as to discardideas which do not work for the benefit of the project.
The production value has to do with the efficient realization of the creator's idea in view of the resources, time and energy spent on it.
While the first two goals are directly related to the end product, the last goal relates to the method of film production and the endless process of "learning by doing".
The learning value is of crucial importance for the future careers of our debutants.
First Clapperplaces equal importance on both the creative product and the skills advancement of the young creators– the former determining the end result of our projects, and the latter – the future career of our debutants.
